Inspired by the nicknames of my daughters, Mimi and Koukie, I chose the name "MIKOU" as a tribute to the source of my inspiration and the driving force behind this brand.

As a European blended family with French, Italian, Portuguese, and English roots, the choice of "Aime la Plage" (loves the beach) resonates naturally with our love for the seaside, particularly as we embrace the coastal beauty while living in Portugal.

It's a heartfelt tribute to the joy my children bring and the diverse cultural threads that weave through our family story.
