Return and Exchange Policy
At MIKOU, we sincerely hope that every purchase brings you joy. However, we understand that preferences may change. Should you decide to return your order, please consider the following guidelines.
1. Time limits
- Exchange: request within 30 days from delivery
- Return: request within 14 days from delivery
Email hello@mikou.pt with your order number and the items you wish to send back. We aim to reply within one business day.
2. Return & Exchange Costs
Exchanges:

Free for all EU Member States: one free exchange (size/colour) per order.

Request a pre-paid return label at hello@mikou.pt, and book the pickup with the carrier. As soon as your original item is scanned, we’ll ship your replacement free of charge (standard service).

Exchanges are not available for orders from countries outside of the EU. If you wish to exchange your size/colour, you may ask for a return within 14 days from the delivery of your original order, and place a new order.
Returns:

EU Member States: Free returns.

United Kingdom: A £15 return-label & processing deduction will be applied to your refund.

Switzerland: A CHF 15 return-label & processing deduction will be applied to your refund.

Other countries: Returns are at the customer’s expense (please use a tracked service). Any non-recoverable import/customs fees we paid on your behalf will be deducted from the refund.
3. Product Conditions

If the item is returned with signs of wear beyond a normal fitting, e.g. worn in water, sunscreen or sand marks, broken hygiene seal, removed tags, we may deduct compensation for any resulting loss in value in accordance to Article 14 (2) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
4. How to send your parcel
- We’ll email you a pre-paid label to print and attach to the package, then simply contact the carrier to book the pick up.
- To make the process even easier, re-use our original mailer and seal it securely.
5. Refunds
- Following receipt and verification of the returned product in good condition, a refund will be processed within 10 days, using the original payment method.Please remember, it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
- If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@mikou.pt.
