Shipping policy
DELIVERY OF ARTICLES
- Customers will receive their items sent by our couriers DPD, DHL or UPS depending on the Country of destination;
- Deliveries are made to the address indicated by the User and in the manner specified in the order summary.
- Upon delivery, Users should verify the content of the delivery and report anomalies without undue delay to the email address hello@mikou.pt. Users may refuse to accept the parcel if visibly damaged.
- Goods are delivered to the countries or territories specified in the relevant section of this Website.
- The deadlines referred to in our Shipping Rates section are merely indicative, however, we will make our best efforts to ensure that they are met, even if compliance does not depend solely on us, considering the intervention of third parties in the process of delivering the Articles;
- The sending of Items to addresses in countries outside the European Union, or to countries with different customs and tax policies than most European Union countries, may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees charged in the country of destination, the payment of which will be the sole responsibility of the Customer.
- If an order is refused due to unexpected additional fees, MIKOU AIME LA PLAGE reserves the right to charge for shipping cost both ways, as well as any additional fee that might occur. Shipping cost will not be refunded for uncollected items. Return shipment for uncollected items may be subject to additional taxes, costs or charges levied by customs or other parties, none of which will be refunded by MIKOU AIME LA PLAGE.
Important Information: We are unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched.
FAILED DELIVERY
- We cannot be held responsible for delivery errors due to inaccuracies or incompleteness in the execution of the purchase order by the User, nor for any damages or delays after handover to any carrier arranged by the User and not offered or recommended by the Owner.
- If the goods are not received or collected at the time or within the deadline specified, the goods will be returned to us, and we will contact the User to schedule a second delivery attempt or to agree on the future course of action.
- Unless otherwise agreed, any delivery attempt starting from the second shall be at the User’s expense.
