This early love for detail deepened during my years at Max Mara, where I was surrounded by luxury fashion every day.

But years later, after moving to Portugal with my newborn daughter and spending most of my days at the beach, I realized something was missing in the swimwear available for children. The pieces available were impractical, lacking the aesthetic or functionality I needed as a new mum.

That’s how MIKOU was born. Crafted with care, attention to detail, and a commitment to both sun safety and sustainability, MIKOU is my answer to creating a product that feels special, just like those boutiques I admired as a child."
