At MIKOU, we make the conscious choice to stay out of the fashion calendar with its trends, seasons, and inevitable markdowns to clear excess stock.
We mindfully produce our collections in small batches at our Portuguese atelier, using only high-quality recycled fabrics. Thanks to the GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certification, we can trace the supply chain all the way back to the yarn itself, making sustainability a purposeful claim.
Der Anzug hat uns rund um gut gefallen. Er hat unseren Sohn gut vor Sonne und Wind an der Nordsee geschützt. Die Knopfleiste war super da er erst 3,5 Monate alt ist und somit noch recht häufig gewickelt wird und auch zum Abhalten sehr praktisch. Die Arme und Beine des Anzugs liegen gut an und sind lang genug so das sie sowohl Arme und auch Beine gut schützen ohne hoch zu rutschen. Mein Baby ist ca 65cm lang und wiegt ca. 7 kg die Größe 68 hat perfekt gepasst.

Summer 2024 I was looking for a full coverage UV protection swimsuit for my 3 month old. I searched everywhere in NL but couldn't find anything that matched. Until I came across Mikou's swimsuit. It was already a yes based on the full coverage but then it also had buttons! After my holiday I received a personal email from the founder if everything was ok, I am still amazed by this, great customer service! This year I was looking for a new one for my now 1 year old, I unfortunately missed a discount code by 1 day. Again I received a personal email, if I had any questions and that they would extend the discount code for me!

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE RIGHT SIZE?
We recommend choosing by height and weight rather than age alone, every baby is different! Check our size guide which includes height and weight ranges for each size. Between sizes? Go up for a little extra room to grow.
HOW DO I CARE FOR THE SWIMSUIT?
Rinse in cold fresh water after each use and lay flat to dry. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle when needed. Avoid tumble drying and ironing to preserve the fabric's UV protection and elasticity.
WHAT CERTIFICATIONS DO YOUR PRODUCTS HAVE?
Our fabric is OEKO-TEX® and GRS certified, guaranteeing it's free from harmful substances. The UPF50+ protection meets the strictest Australian, European, and American testing standards. And our Portuguese factory is Intertek certified for ethical working conditions.
WHAT IF IT DOESN'T FIT?
EU: One free exchange within 30 days of delivery. Just let us know and we'll send your new size. Free returns within 14 days if you change your mind.
UK & Switzerland: Returns accepted within 14 days. A £15 / CHF 15 handling fee will be deducted from your refund. Need a different size or colour? Simply return and place a new order.
Rest of World: Returns accepted within 14 days at your expense (please use a tracked service). Any non-recoverable import or customs fees we paid on your behalf will be deducted from the refund.
